Physical and Environmental Security

Miami FL 2 is manned 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by security personnel who control access to the building. Guards will only permit key card access to the elevators for clients with valid photo identification. Access to the raised floor and individual cage and cabinet areas is then limited by an additional key card requirement combined with a biometric hand scan. Once inside, clients then have access to their cabinet space via a combination lock on the cabinet. Additionally, the cabinets are designed specifically to prevent any client from accessing another other client’s equipment.

Our data center has CCTV digital cameras capturing all activities and all footage is archived for future retrieval. The CCTV is fully integrated into the alarm system and the physical structure of the building surpasses all local building codes and standards with added security measures.

The facility is protected by the TotalPac Fire Suppression System, which is a dual alarmed, dual interlock, multi-zoned, pre-zoned, pre-action, dry pipe fire suppression delivery system. The electrical and mechanical systems have been built with the latest technologies which provide clients with N+1 redundancy to guarantee continuous operation with branch breaker monitoring plus dual power grid services.

Management and monitoring of environmental systems is ongoing, with 24 hour, 365 day electronic detection systems. Our 14′ high ceilings in a raised floor environment ensure that your equipment is maintained with N+1 cooling for optimum airflow and humidity at 72ºF. Power systems are designed for maximum effectiveness and are capable of delivering 120v, 208v, 480v AC, and -48v DC to match each client’s unique needs.
