By using the backbones of most major Internet service providers, coupled with performance-based intelligent routing, we will now be delivering your internet communications via the quickest and least congested routes. This will ensure your mission-critical services like video and voice will operate without a hitch… and we’re doing it at NO additional cost to you!
This is not an add-on or optional service; we are simply integrating Internap’s innovative technology into the bandwidth service you already get through Vault Networks, to provide you with enhanced performance, availability and support. With conventional single-source service, network congestion problems often cause unexpected drops in speed, availability and performance. This means that any single ISP can provide the optimal route only a fraction of the time – some studies suggest that optimal routing is achieved less than 15% of the time! Internap’s Private Network Access Point (P-NAP®) is connected to multiple major providers, and by incorporating this technology into our infrastructure, we are opening up many more possible network routes. To determine the fastest route to any end point at any given time, Internap’s Managed Internet Route Optimizer™ (MIRO) software works like a traffic helicopter with visibility into all possible routes, along with the ability to dynamically assess performance of all sources, identify the best option and ensure your traffic is being dynamically directed to that route. P-NAP® then selects the best available route, avoiding the performance and congestion problems that slow down conventional connectivity service.
